WHAT BEAUTY ADVICE WOULD YOU PASS ON
TO THE FUTURE GENERATION OF WOMEN/
DAUGHTERS?

My beauty advice to my two daughters and future generations of women is to always wear sunscreen and to always cleanse your face. Personally, I’ve had a skin cancer removed from my nose and I never want my daughters to have to go through this.

WHAT’S A SPECIAL MEMORY OF YOUR
MUM YOU’LL ALWAYS CHERISH?

A special memory of my Mum is her always making sure that she made time for me. Even as a single mum of 5 children and working full-time, she always made the time.

I hope to do the same for my child and my next little one on the way. It’s something as an adult I cherish and want my children to feel special individually.

Lindsay, National Retail Manager

AS A MUM, WHAT MAKES YOU
FEEL SPECIAL AND LOVED?

“It comes from the simplest of moments… the excitement on my kids faces when they spot me at school pick-up, the handmade drawings, the morning snuggles, the sweet exclamations of “You’re the best mum, ever!”to even the smallest of gestures, like giving them a snack or planning a fun outing. Their genuine concern for me when I’m sick or feeling down, showering me with kisses and cuddles to lift my spirits. These little things are what truly makes me feel special and loved.”

Kasey, Financial Controller

WHAT’S A SPECIAL TRAIT YOU BELIEVE
YOU’VE INHERITED FROM YOUR MUM?

A love of learning. Mum has the biggest, most beautiful brain. More than that, Mum has an insatiable appetite for learning. As a child of the 50s & 60s she was told that education was wasted on girls, that she wasn’t worth the investment. Despite the expectations of the time, Mum pursued her love of learning and has had an illustrious career as an academic and Doctor of Anthropology. She taught me this love of learning through her actions and habits, and I hope it’s something I will pass onto my daughter.

MAKEUP MUST-HAVES FOR BUSY

MUM’S ON-THE-GO

When it comes to getting ready, there’s no one as time-savvy as a busy Mum.
Between sleepless nights and little humans latching to your legs, the desire to find
products that resemble ‘I’ve had 8 hours sleep’ in a bottle is key.

A hydrating moisturiser and base in one is not only going to save you time, but
give your complexion the love it needs, minus the 3 step application process.
A hard-working concealer will have you feeling like maybe you actually did sleep.
A pinch-perfect crème blush holds the ability to awaken your face and can be
doubled as an eyeshadow and lip tint. It’s all about multi-purpose products!
An eye-opening mascara is a non-negotiable for definition and an instant lash lift.
A nourishig lip oil is not only going to keep your lips hydrated, but add a layer of
shine for a put together finish.
